Most of the local universities offer B.Sc. degrees which are considered as lesser qualifications in other countries. So what happens is if a person who holds a Pakistani B.Sc. applies for an M.Sc. course in foreign countries like UK, USA and Australia he will be told to complete a Pakistani M.Sc. and then apply for it. This way one or two years of a persons career are wasted. Foreign quailifications are preferred over local qualifications in all the industries.
So, it is better to have a
foreign qualification than a local one because in the end it results in under-employment
and not so good pays.
